Course Overview

The MA in War and Society is a truly unique course exploring seismic events that sparked violent change throughout the course of human history. You will attempt to investigate what war means and discover a meaningful definition. Analyzed through multiple contexts including the political, social, cultural, technological, historical, military, and media, you will learn how messages can be distorted in subtle and sophisticated ways. This is a collaborative, interdisciplinary MA Degree program that is harnessed by the breadth of research expertise in the College of Arts and Humanities.

General Eligibility

The typical entry requirement is a degree in any background, normally a lower second (average 55 percent) or above or equivalent. Overseas students are expected to possess an IELTS score of 6.5.
