You will gain a comprehensive grounding in the functions of management and its role in successfully managing people and organizations. This is underpinned by critical analysis of the organizational context in which managers and employees work. All our lives at work are shaped by the cultural, legal, and economic factors of labor markets and this course will prepare you to engage with these issues in critical and practical ways. You will be inspired to question the ethical and social responsibilities of the organizations that affect all our lives whether as customers, employees, or citizens. In addition, all of our management degrees are dually accredited with ILM, the UK's leading Leadership and Management Awarding Organisation. This means you can gain ILM's Level 4 Award in Leadership and Management subject to passing the relevant modules.
A/AS-levels: ABB. All subjects accepted. Two AS-levels may be considered in place of one A-level.
IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. If your first language is not English, you may need to provide evidence of your English language ability. If you do not yet meet our requirements, our English Language Teaching Unit (ELTU) offers a range of courses to help you to improve your English to the necessary standard.
