In your foundation year, youll learn the key concepts of biochemistry, biology, chemistry, and mathematics as well as basic laboratory techniques. Youll learn about cellular organisms, biomolecules, and how to perform calculations on simple chemical systems. Later in the course, youll cover the important aspects of forensic, pharmaceutical, medical, and analytical science.
At least one A level (or a minimum of 32 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification, eg BTEC Subsidiary/National/BTEC Extended Diploma). English Language and Mathematics GCSE at grade C (grade 4) or above (or equivalent eg Functional Skills at Level 2).
