This two-year fast-track program is designed for people who already have a degree in another subject, and for lawyers from outside the UK who'd like to broaden their education. You’ll study the fundamental principles of English law at the undergraduate level.
At Hull, we don’t just say – we do. Our new state-of-the-art mock criminal court allows you to bring the courtroom to life right here on campus. Practice your skills in mock trials and prepare for your future career. Our Student Law Society organizes regular mooting competitions, as well as client interview practice.
Law at Hull brings opportunities to get involved in a wealth of CV-boosting extracurricular activities.
These include paid summer internships with specialist local law firms, radar, and mini-pupillages, run in partnership with Wilberforce Chambers, which offer the experience of the work done by barristers.
You even get the chance to provide real legal advice to real clients at our Legal Advice Centre and our recently enhanced Mediation Centre, giving you practical, hands-on experience to prepare for the next steps in your career.
We’re also partnered with the University of Law, which runs a series of bespoke courses to help prepare students for both the SQE examination and other professional qualifications.
A second-class Honours degree or better in a non-law subject. An equivalent overseas qualification will be required for non-UK graduates.
20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
IELTS 6.0 overall, with no less than 5.5 in each skill.
