Course Overview

You will develop an understanding of the main theories, models, frameworks, and techniques of management and leadership and have the opportunity to explore these within an international framework. You will also develop a critical understanding of the global economic, social and political environments which affect organizational life.

This degree will equip you with the skills to critically evaluate the published literature on management and leadership and synthesize the range of issues and perspectives that inform research and practice in the field. It will also develop your practical, transferable skills, including the ability to conduct independent research. In addition, you will have the opportunity to create the expertise and knowledge to manage competently, capably, and ethically.

The course has been designed to meet the needs of newly qualified graduates and professionals in their careers as managers and future leaders. The broad scope of this course opens up a wide range of managerial roles, including general management, HRM, marketing, and operations. The content is equally suitable for both private and public sector organizations. The international focus will also position you for a managerial role in a multinational company or overseas subsidiary.

The course will develop your analytical, reasoning, interpersonal, team-working, and communications skills. All of these are valuable assets for the aspiring manager or leader. In addition, you will gain broader problem-solving, presentation, and analytical writing skills from the coursework and group projects.

General Eligibility

A good second-class honors degree or equivalent from a recognized university.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
