Your transformation from a new student to a future business professional will begin from day one.
In your first year, you will gain an understanding of the global business environment and develop fundamental management skills in marketing, people and organizations, finance, and entrepreneurship.
In year two, you will translate this business knowledge into making key decisions and consider the different ways businesses operate around the world. You will also start to shape your career path by choosing an aspect of business and a work placement that suits your personal interests and ambitions.
You will also have an opportunity to undertake an additional year-long placement which really brings your course to life and may enhance your graduate employment prospects. You may even have a year studying Business and Management abroad in Europe, North America, Asia, or Australasia.
Your final year is even more tailored towards giving you the competitive edge you need to enter the area of business you want. You will carry out an original supervised research project into a subject you select and complete a module designed to maximize individual professional success.
Most of what you study will be anchored to today’s business world but support you to challenge assumptions and make relevant management decisions. By referring to top companies and emerging sectors such as cognitive science, financial innovation, and data analytics you will be well-placed to focus and develop your career.
