With an understanding of traditional animation and illustration, combined with expertise in cutting-edge digital design technology, our graduates have found success with leading animation studios and broadcasters, including Channel 4 and the BBC. As an Illustration and Animation student at ARU, you can be sure youll graduate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities that the industry needs. We work with artists, creative agencies, and production studios €“ and they offer hands-on, practical opportunities to learn through work-based projects, internships, or placements. On our Sequential Practice module, youll focus on preparing for life beyond university, creating a showreel, a website, and promotional material, as well as hearing guest speakers from some of the top animation studios in London, such as Passion Pictures, The Mill, Framestore, and Studio Aka.
UK 5 GCSE passes at grade 3 or above (for GCSE's taken prior to 2017 a grade E will be accepted) plus evidence of having attempted two years of post GCSE study. 19 points for International Baccalaureate. (EU & International nationals ONLY): 40. UCAS Tariff points at A/AS level. For A levels taken prior to 2017, the requirement is 100 tariff points. 22 points for International Baccalaureate.
The English requirement for all ARU College courses is an IELTS overall score of 5.5 (with at least 5.5 in each of the four components).
