Course Overview

What can you do with a BA (Hons) History degree? The answer: Almost anything! Former ARU History graduates are now at work in the civil service, teaching, museums and heritage management, the police, the armed forces as well as other rewarding and enjoyable jobs. Youll also become skilled in data analysis, research, critical thinking, and complex problem-solving. Whichever career path you follow, you can be sure youll graduate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities that employers need. We work with them to design our courses, and they help us review what we teach and how we teach it.

General Eligibility

UK 5 GCSE passes at grade 3 or above (for GCSE's taken prior to 2017 a grade E will be accepted) plus evidence of having attempted two years of post GCSE study. 19 points for International Baccalaureate. (EU & International nationals ONLY): 40. UCAS Tariff points at A/AS level. For A levels taken prior to 2017, the requirement is 100 tariff points. 22 points for International Baccalaureate.
