Course Overview

With our Computer Networks degree, youll build the skills you need to design, configure, manage and support networks in companies both big and small. You could work as a certified networking engineer in an organization or even be self-employed. Alongside these skills, youll also acquire a solid understanding of a number of areas of computer science including programming, computer systems, and digital security, providing a foundation for any number of careers including web development, IT systems or even creating your own apps. As part of your Computer network studies, the opportunity of a placement year could see you working in the industry, making contacts, and building up your experience and knowledge in the kind of environment you might ultimately work in.

General Eligibility

UK 5 GCSE passes at grade 3 or above (for GCSE's taken prior to 2017 a grade E will be accepted) plus evidence of having attempted two years of post GCSE study. 19 points for International Baccalaureate. (EU & International nationals ONLY): 40. UCAS Tariff points at A/AS level. For A levels taken prior to 2017, the requirement is 100 tariff points. 22 points for International Baccalaureate.
