Course Overview

Our BSc (Hons) Business with Economics gives you the theoretical and practical knowledge youll need to work as an economist, whether thats in the public or private sector. Its also a good basis for a range of related careers in business and industry. You could find yourself working for think-tanks or charities, consultancies, national or local government, banks, or accountancy firms. Or you may choose to pursue a career in a related field, such as marketing. Whichever career path you have your sights set on, you can be confident about graduating with the knowledge, skills, and abilities that the industry needs. Employers help us review what we teach and how we teach it €“ and they offer hands-on, practical opportunities to learn through work-based projects, internships, or placements.

General Eligibility

UK 5 GCSE passes at grade 3 or above (for GCSE's taken prior to 2017 a grade E will be accepted) plus evidence of having attempted two years of post GCSE study. 19 points for International Baccalaureate. (EU & International nationals ONLY): 40. UCAS Tariff points at A/AS level. For A levels taken prior to 2017, the requirement is 100 tariff points. 22 points for International Baccalaureate.
