Course Overview

You'll study the applications of psychology in a wide range of areas, including specific social problems in relation to crime, the workplace, and mental health. Working through theories posed by Freud and Jung to your own original research, youll have a strong grasp of what makes the mind tick. Through course assessments, you'll gain key skills such as how to work in a team, give engaging presentations, write concise reports, and analyze data effectively. In the final year of study youll also be able to choose from a range of applied and theoretical modules. This course has been accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), a qualification recognized by major employers throughout the country. All our compulsory modules take you through the core BPS requirements. Once you graduate, with a 2.2 or above, youll be eligible for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC). From there, youll be able to take the next steps towards being a Chartered Psychologist.

General Eligibility

A typical offer will require a UCAS Tariff score between 96 - 120 points and GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above. A minimum of two full A-levels (or equivalent) is required
