Course Overview

There is an acknowledged shortage of skilled mechatronics engineers with the right qualifications and experience. We have designed this course to fill this skills gap and give you a competitive edge when it comes to your career. Some potential destinations for students are aerospace, automotive, railways, defense, manufacturing, and marine engineering. In your career, you will design, develop, maintain and manage engineering systems that have cutting-edge sophisticated technology. You will have a key role in areas such as design, research, and development, sales, production management, safety, and quality. You could apply new solutions to industrial problems using mechanical and electronic engineering and computer technology; such as for robotic vehicles for underwater exploration.
