You can choose to utilize the skill set that you develop within sports psychology in a number of ways. Some students have gone on to pursue external governing body recognition as sport psychologists while others have used the skills to enhance other career options, e.g. one former British student was a tennis coach that got a position as an NCAA D1 University as Head Coach immediately on graduation. You will develop your skills and knowledge in a directly applied context, further supported by industry experience through the placement module. This will ensure that you are €˜employment ready in your knowledge, skills, and experience. The strong industry experience and contacts of our staff team also mean that you will be well-connected to potential jobs as they arise.
minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent for international students) in a sport or psychology-related area. Related include but are not limited to, sociology, anthropology, social sciences, career coaching. Candidates with exceptional and extensive work experience in sport or psychology may also be considered (subject to the approval of the program leader)
Overall Academic IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 6.0 in Writing and Speaking; minimum 5.5 in Reading and Listening (or recognized equivalent).
