The course covers all aspects of contemporary photography practice, including editorial, fashion, product, portrait, documentary, and arts-based photography. Gaining insight into this expansive field, youll have the chance to test out different areas within the image-based industries, to get a sense of what direction you want to take things in. Well help you develop your skills to a professional standard, and give you the theoretical grounding, and practical opportunities, to add depth and flair to your work. During your degree, youll develop the technical skills essential for enhancing your practice, including analog and digital photography methods, lighting skills, and darkroom techniques. Alongside this, youll develop a critical and theoretical understanding of photography, allowing you to gain further insights into the subject, and to enrich your practical application.
