During the course, you will be able to experience clinical practice through a range of learning placement opportunities across the health and social care sector whilst also completing NMC proficiencies. The remaining academic study is taught through generic and field-specific lecturers, modules, seminars, and simulations. This combination will enrich your learning across different fields of nursing (adult, child, and mental health) as well as help develop your core knowledge in the Learning Disability Nursing field. Successful students will graduate at the end of the course with an NMC Registration and will be qualified to deliver a wide range of clinical and care skills, underpinned by contemporary evidence and the appropriate values and behaviors.
A typical offer will require a UCAS Tariff score between 112 - 136 points. For this course, you'll need at least two A-levels and GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4. Our offers usually require a minimum of 112 UCAS points.
