UCAS does not distinguish between RME (Religious and Moral Education in the non-denominational sector) and RERC (religious education in Roman Catholic Schools). The School of Education at Strathclyde focuses on RME only.
Degree requirements
An ordinary degree or international equivalent.
Degree must include:
80 SCQF credits from at least two of the following subjects:
religious studies
philosophy
theology
divinity
sociology of religion
anthropology of religion
psychology of religion
Maths & English
Higher (SCQF Level 6) English Grade C or above
National 5 (SCQF Level 5) Mathematics Grade C or above
Maths and English qualifications can be in progress at the time of application.

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
