Course Overview

Throughout this program, you will gain real-life experiences as well as receive the theory behind the perioperative environment and care delivery. Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive the award that leads to eligibility to apply for admission to the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Register. You will gain the key knowledge and skills to achieve what is both required and expected within the contemporary healthcare setting through classroom-based teaching, use of our simulation suite, and clinical placement throughout the duration of the study. On your placement, youll be placed in the operating theatre setting within one of our trusts where you will be mentored in the art of patient care.

General Eligibility

Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements for the 3-year undergraduate program, or those who do not feel fully prepared for a Level 4 course, will be considered for the 4-year program including a Foundation Year.

Youll need either:_x000D_ _x000D_ £1,334 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses outside London_x000D_ £1,023 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses inside London_x000D_ If youre applying for the Doctorate Extension Scheme, and youve been in the UK for less than 12 months, you need to prove you have a total of £2,668 for courses in London, or a total of £2,046 for courses outside London._x000D_ _x000D_ If youre boarding at a residential independent school, youll need to pay boarding fees instead. The amount you need to pay will be on your CAS._x000D_ _x000D_ London means the City of London and the 32 London boroughs.
