Structured around employment in the health and social care sector, this course has been designed with relevant employers to meet the demanding needs of the industry. Our lecturers will help you develop specialist knowledge and skills in care work. This work-based course will also help you to gain skills in analysis and evaluation. Youll also gain first-hand experience through work-based learning in either paid employment or voluntary roles. Youll work with a range of different people such as young offenders, those with mental health needs, learning disabilities, and also the vulnerable, elderly and disabled. You can work with our Learning Development Unit on a one-to-one basis and we can tailor the support to your specific needs. The team can work with you on all aspects of your academic work and help ensure you get the most from your learning. You can also access a range of online resources.
A typical offer will be a UCAS Tariff score between 40-64 points. A minimum of two full A-levels (or equivalent) is required. Every application is considered on an individual basis.
