Course Overview

On a major film or television production, the hair and makeup department will employ many people to work in various roles. At Buckinghamshire New University, we'll help to train you to join this creative community and master the magic of prosthetics, hair, wigs, media makeup, and more. Our two-year accelerated course is taught between our High Wycombe campus and our teaching base at the iconic Pinewood Studios, home to the creators of blockbuster films such as Star Wars, Jurassic Park, and Bond films. Well also prepare you for work beforehand, with special skills for work training, further boosting your CV, and building skills employers will value. In recognition of the value, we place on these skills we have incorporated this experience into your study time.

General Eligibility

A typical offer will be a UCAS Tariff score of 80 - 104. A minimum of two full A-levels (or equivalent) is required. Every application is considered on an individual basis.
