The pace of change within politics has never moved so quickly. Recent worldwide events have brought about dramatic shifts in our social, economic, and political cultures, from Coronavirus and Brexit to the impact of global technologies on the latest presidential election. This BA (Hons) Politics degree explores cutting-edge political developments, equipping you with the training to enter today’s political landscape.

Politics examines how power is exercised, how political decisions are made, and to who these decisions are made. This politics degree course will teach you about campaigns, elections, protest movements, policy issues, and political ideas. In addition, you’ll explore different political arguments, rival theories, and alternative explanations while developing your critical theory and debating skills.

You will:

General Eligibility

GCSE

The English Language is required at grade C/level 4 or above (or equivalent). Maths at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
