Course Overview

Graduates can pursue careers in international organizations and businesses, education, research, or editing. This degree may also be useful in becoming a translator, magazine/newspaper journalist, editorial assistant, or primary/secondary school teacher. General Eligibility

We welcome applicants without traditional entry qualifications as we base decisions on our own assessment of qualifications, knowledge, and previous work experience. We may waive formal entry requirements based on the judgment of academic potential. There is a minimum language entry requirement for French, German, Italian, and Spanish of CEFR level A2 (GCSE or equivalent). Japanese only may be taken from beginner level. A language placement test will be required for any students who wish to study at a higher level than beginners in their chosen language.

• If English is not your first language or you have not previously studied in English, the requirement for this course is the equivalent of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic Test) score of 7.0, and at least 6.5 in writing.
