The Business Continuity Management BCI Diploma is designed to cater to professionals who are seeking acceptance into the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) as members. The course is suitable for those who are currently working in or have the potential to work in, a key role where they have responsibilities for ensuring the business can continue to operate effectively, during, or after a non-destructive or disruptive incident. It is a natural career step for those who have learned the fundamentals of business continuity, and want a formal qualification to recognize their knowledge. The Business Continuity Institute (BCI) was established in 1994 to enable individual members to obtain guidance and support from fellow business continuity practitioners. It is the worlds most eminent BCM institute and is instantly recognized as standing for good practice and professionalism within continuity and related industries. The wider role of the BCI is to promote the highest standards of professional competence and commercial ethics in the provision and maintenance of business continuity planning and services. This short course is taught by the Universitys academic team, who have strong industry and academic experience in business continuity management and associated resilience disciplines. The tutors consult closely with industry and sector practitioners through the BCI. This program is eligible for funding under the Ministry of Defence Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) scheme. Our ELCAS number is 1682.
There are no formal pre-entry requirements for the Diploma, although you will be required to demonstrate an acceptable standard of written English.
