Purchasing, logistics and supply-chain management are critical to the success of manufacturing and service industries worldwide. This two-year course gives you the skills you need to be an effective professional in the field, opening up career opportunities within a range of sectors.
The course supports you to develop a sound understanding of the theories and techniques of global logistics and supply-chain management - knowledge you can apply to employment across diverse organisations. Your studies encompass procurement, production, distribution, transport and customer services, and cover a range of management styles and structures.
Course units consider global logistics and supply-chain management and may include risk and procurement; sustainable business management; and project and operations management. The Data Analytics units focus on computer networks and security as well as data modelling, management and governance. These units give you both the underpinning theory and the ability to apply it to logistics, supply-chain and purchasing decisions.
Applicants should have a good undergraduate degree at the Honours level or equivalent.
To apply for a postgraduate degree (MA/MSc/MBA/LLM) at the University of Bedfordshire you should have a good honors degree (or equivalent qualification) in an appropriate subject from a recognized university or HE institution.
We will also consider candidates with other relevant qualifications or appropriate work experience.
