Course Overview

The Brunel Finance and Accounting BSc provides students with the knowledge, skills, and insights needed to successfully pursue careers in accountancy and other roles across the financial sector. This ACCA, CIMA, and ICAEW accredited degree will give you a solid grounding in the theories and practices of finance and accounting and a clear understanding of the regulatory and social frameworks in which these disciplines operate. Youll also study econometrics and develop sought-after skills in data modeling and get training in analytical packages widely used by business and financial institutions such as SAS, EViews, Bloomberg, Reuters, and STATA.

General Eligibility

GCE A-level BBB including grade B in Maths or Maths & Statistics (General Studies not accepted). BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma DDD in any subject and A-level Maths or Maths & Statistics at grade B. BTEC Level 3 Diploma DD in a related subject and an A-level Maths or Maths & Statistics at grade B. BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma D in any subject and A-levels grade BB including Maths or Maths & Statistics. International Baccalaureate Diploma 30 points, including 5 in Higher Level Maths. Obtain a minimum of 120 UCAS tariff points in the Access to HE Diploma with 45 credits at Level 3 and grade B in A level Maths or Maths & Statistics. A minimum of five GCSEs is required, including GCSE Mathematics Grade C or Grade 4 and GCSE English Language Grade C or grade 4.
