The Brunel Economics BSc combines a thorough grounding in economic theory with the practical skills needed to apply that knowledge to the business, industrial, financial, or government environments. Youll learn how markets operate from microeconomic and macroeconomic perspectives and how trade and business priorities shape the ways societies function. Special attention will be given to financial markets and the banking sector, as well as an introduction to accounting. You will study statistics and econometrics and develop skills in data presentation, analysis, and modeling. This training will use analytical packages widely used by business and financial institutions such as SAS, EViews, Bloomberg, Reuters, and STATA.
