Course Overview

The course will give you a firm philosophical grounding and mastery of complex, specialized areas of philosophical study, enabling you to engage critically and reflectively with current philosophical debates. You will also be equipped with the essential research skills you need to proceed to Ph.D. research. You will complete a substantial supervised research project in a shorter time than that required for a Ph.D.

Graduates can pursue career paths in management, politics, recruitment, and journalism. Possible professions include:

General Eligibility

A second-class honors degree (2:2) or above. Work experience of any kind is desirable.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • If English is not your first language or you have not previously studied in English, the requirement for this course is the equivalent of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic Test) score of 7.0, with not less than 6.5 in each of the sub-tests.
