The Postgraduate Certificate in Management offers a general introduction to a range of key management issues and allows you to choose specialist modules from our wide range of offerings. This flexibility provides you with a thorough introduction to theoretical issues in management. You will become familiar with current research trends in the study of management, business, and organizations, and existing views and debates in the theory and practice of management. You will also develop an understanding of businesses and other types of organizations, such as public, not-for-profit or cooperative, and the environment in which they operate, as well as an appreciation of the role of managerial processes in the efficiency and effectiveness of organizations. The program also provides an opportunity to develop competencies in management planning, organizing, and leading.
Our standard postgraduate entry requirement is a second-class honors degree (2:2 or above)
If English is not your first language or you have not previously studied in English, our usual requirement is the equivalent of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic Test) score of 6.5, with not less than 6.0 in each of the sub-tests.
