The pace of the globalization of national economies has accelerated in recent years, and this has led to a more dynamic relationship between international business activities and economic and social development. Our MSc International Business and Development is suitable for graduates who are, or seek to be, employed in relevant government departments, non-governmental organizations, international agencies or private companies involved in, or related to, international business and economic development. It also provides a foundation for those wishing to undertake doctoral research in international business and development. Graduates can pursue careers in management, local and national government, business, and industry. Possible professions include management consultant, human resource officer, or marketing executive. This degree can also be useful in working for a multinational company as a logistics and distribution officer or a systems analyst.
Our standard postgraduate entry requirement is a second-class honors degree (2:2 or above) from a UK university or an equivalent international qualification.
If English is not your first language or you have not previously studied in English, our usual requirement is the equivalent of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic Test) score of 6.5, with not less than 6.0 in each of the sub-tests.
