Course Overview

This postgraduate program in education and social justice provides you with well-grounded theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of education and social justice, as well as the opportunity for a comprehensive and critical analysis of literature on education, globalization, power, and resistance.

You will assess how historical perspectives explain today's educational conditions and critically examine the extent to which globalization affects educational development.

A significant part of this course involves conducting independent research in the field of education and social justice, where you will distinguish between qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

You will find education and social justice graduates in the following kinds of roles:

General Eligibility

Our standard postgraduate entry requirement is a second-class honors degree (2:2 or above) from a UK university or an equivalent international qualification.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • If English is not your first language or you have not previously studied in English, our usual requirement is the equivalent of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic Test) score of 6.5, with not less than 6.0 in each of the sub-tests.
