Our Master of Paediatrics will enable you to lead the progress of child health within your respective fields.
With a significant focus on research, this masters programme will allow you to apply critical thinking and core research to the delivery of healthcare to children.
With a Master of Paediatrics, your research will improve the quality of paediatric care for both local and wider communities across Aotearoa.
The programme can be completed full-time in 18 months or part-time in 36 months. You are encouraged to pursue part-time study. Extramural study is an option.
Doctor Pathway: a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalently recognised international degree.
Nurse Practitioner Pathway: a Bachelor of Nursing or Master of Nursing Science (or equivalently recognised international degree. You must have either completed, or be enrolled in, a Nursing Council of New Zealand accredited Nurse Practitioner Masters degree programme.
20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
