Course Overview

The course equips apprentices with the theory and practical skills to be able to manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final accounts. It is developed in partnership with the industry so apprentices are up to date with the latest technologies in the field. Apprentices develop their technical, legal, analytical, and evaluation skills in contractual frameworks, costing a project and enhancing value for money, while still achieving the required client expectations, standards, and quality. GCUs Common Good values and principles are embedded in the course, which aims to produce graduates with a broad awareness of the various legal, ethical, and professional responsibilities of a quantity surveyor.
