A degree form Camborne School of Mines will teach the necessary technical skills and theoretical knowledge required, as well as additional complementary skills relating to communications, teamwork and problem solving. A foundation of geomatics based knowledge is then supplemented by elements of minerals and land management, project management, relevant law, contamination and site investigation.
A good honours degree from a recognised university (typically a 2:2 or higher) in Geography, Environmental Science, Geoscience, Engineering, Economics, Archaeology or a similar subject.
Apprentices will need to be employed by your organization for a minimum of 30 hours per week. Your organization will also need to commit to sponsoring apprentices to complete this qualification.
IELTS Overall score 6.5. No less than 6.0 in any section. TOEFL Overall score 90 with minimum scores of 21 for writing, 21 for listening, 22 for reading and 23 for speaking.
