Course Overview

A degree in Biosciences will help you to develop a wide range of essential skills such as analytical problem solving, team work and organising and communicating information. Many of our students continue their studies in the subject by following a further degree and research in their chosen area.

General Eligibility

A-Level AAA A in a science subject* IB 36/666 HL6 in a science subject* BTEC DDD Applicants studying one of the following BTEC Extended Diplomas will be considered without GCE A-level Science: Applied Science, Animal Management, Agriculture, Countryside Management, Environmental Sustainability, Fish Management, Forestry and Arboriculture, Marine Biology GCSE C or 4 and B or 5 Grade C or 4 in GCSE English language and grade B or 5 in Mathematics Access to HE 30 L3 credits at Distinction Grade and 15 L3 credits at Merit Grade To include at least 15 L3 credits at Distinction Grade in accepted science subject areas* Contextual Offer A-Level: ABB IB: 32/655 BTEC: DDM

Part Time Work Details

Apprentices will need to be employed by your organization for a minimum of 30 hours per week. Your organization will also need to commit to sponsoring apprentices to complete this qualification.

Language Requirement

  • IELTS and IELTS Indicator (International English Language Testing System – academic version) 6.5 overall and no less than 5.5 in any other section and TOEFL iBT and TOEFL iBT Home Edition and TOEFL iBT Paper Edition 90 with minimum scores of 21 in speaking and at least 18 in all other sections.
