Course Overview

A Politics degree helps you develop the intellectual, communication, and analytical skills employers are looking for. Youll open the door to a wide range of career opportunities €“ from politics itself to connected areas such as commerce, civil service, journalism, law, and teaching. There are also plenty of opportunities to broaden your horizons by studying abroad during your course, including through our Politics-specific partnership with the Universities of Gothenburg in Sweden.

General Eligibility

A minimum of four passes at SQA Higher Grade or three A-levels or equivalent*. An acceptable pass in entry subjects in the IB Diploma, HNC/D, BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma or equivalent. An approved pass in a recognized Access Course or equivalent.
