Course Overview

Adult nursing is a challenging and rewarding profession that offers a wide range of roles caring for people and promoting health. Nursing is a dynamic profession, and well give you the training and confidence necessary to work in complex health and social care environment. Youll have the knowledge, skills, and attributes necessary to practice safely, compassionately, ethically, and effectively in a range of contemporary care settings. Our BSc course in Nursing extends over three years while our BSc (Hons) course over four years. In their final year, Honours students complete additional modules, including a dissertation and their NMC-required final placement, achieving registration and their Honours degree at the end of Year 4.

General Eligibility

A minimum of four passes at SQA Higher Grade or three A-levels or equivalent*. An acceptable pass in entry subjects in the IB Diploma, HNC/D, BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma or equivalent. An approved pass in a recognized Access Course or equivalent.
