Course Overview

Explore the practical and theoretical frameworks of curation on our MA Curation course, part of the School of Fine Art, Craft, and Photography at UCA Canterbury. This course is open to curators, artists, historians, designers, architects, and humanities graduates looking to explore and foster new and innovative approaches to curation at an advanced level. It's based on three principles: engaging community, critical rigor, and the development of professional practice. Through a range of opportunities, projects and partnerships, you will be encouraged to understand and position yourself and your research within the context of professional practice, learning about both local and global curatorial practices. You'll develop an individual program of study, based on a personal research project that is underpinned by lectures, seminars, group projects, workshops, and life opportunities.

UK entry requirements MA course An honors degree or equivalent qualification in the subject or a related discipline and/or Relevant work experience, demonstrating your ability to study at the postgraduate level.
