Course Overview

We focus on giving you an in-depth knowledge not only of the language but also the factors that are shaping France and the wider Francophone world today. This contemporary, all-encompassing approach means youll graduate with a true grasp of Frances place in the world and a deep understanding of the languages ongoing evolution and reach. Youll be qualified to apply this knowledge in a host of professional arenas €“ with former French graduates from Stirling having gone on to work in areas as diverse as journalism, teaching, law, and translation. Theres no formula or limit to what you can do with a second language, and the opportunity to spend an extended period studying abroad will further broaden your horizons and adaptability. General Eligibility

A minimum of four passes at SQA Higher Grade or three A-levels or equivalent*. An acceptable pass in entry subjects in the IB Diploma, HNC/D, BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma or equivalent. An approved pass in a recognized Access Course or equivalent.
