Course Overview

Nothing can happen without transport - its a fundamental part of our society, enabling people to do the things they want and need to do. On our dedicated transport management course, youll gain the knowledge, skills, and experience you need to work on some of the biggest transport infrastructure projects around. Whether you want to be part of the transformational HS2 project or are thinking about using your skills to work on some of the biggest sustainability challenges we face, youll be well equipped by the time you graduate. Our Transport Management program, which is part of the civil engineering and infrastructure cluster here at Aston, examines the economic, operational, societal, and environmental issues related to the transport and distribution industries. The skills you will gain are in high demand and, as a graduate, you will be able to work on developing and building transport solutions that are more efficient, more sustainable, and future-proof.

Science or technical subjects include Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Biology Further Maths, Design Technology, Engineering Science and Electronics, Geography and Geology.

  • IELTS Overall 6.0, Reading, Writing Listening, Speaking 5. Financial requirement You’ll need to show you have enough money to support yourself - unless you’ve been in the UK with a valid visa for at least 12 months on the date of your application. How much money you need depends on where you will be studying. You’ll need either: £1,334 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses outside London £1,023 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses inside London If you’re applying for the Doctorate Extension Scheme, and you’ve been in the UK for less than 12 months, you need to prove you have a total of £2,668 for courses in London, or a total of £2,046 for courses outside London. If you’re boarding at a residential independent school, you’ll need to pay boarding fees instead. The amount you need to pay will be on your CAS. London means the City of London and the 32 London boroughs.
