Course Overview

The apprenticeship is taught at the undergraduate level (Levels 4-6) over four years but can be extended to give, covering the essentials of professional engineering including mathematics and science, while specializing in control/technical support for the manufacturing sector. Develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviors needed to excel in your career, with a focus on planning for the future of the sector. This course will prepare you with the advanced professional skills required for the evolving environmental and political landscape in the fast-paced and cost-conscious manufacturing sector.

General Eligibility

Three A-Levels at CCC or above including a Mathematics based subject and a STEM subject, or equivalent BTECs.* Have a minimum of five GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above including Mathematics, English, and science, technology, or engineering-related subject. *Please note: Employers may specify their own entry criteria that can exceed this. Candidates who do not have three A-Levels at CCC may be considered on a case-by-case basis with aptitude and experience taken into consideration. You will also need to meet the government's eligibility criteria: Have been a UK/EU/EAA resident for the past three years or more prior to starting the course. Have left full-time education when the apprenticeship you are applying for is due to start. Be aged at least 16 years old to meet government funding criteria.

  • IELTS Overall 6.0, Reading, Writing Listening, Speaking 5.5 Financial requirement You’ll need to show you have enough money to support yourself - unless you’ve been in the UK with a valid visa for at least 12 months on the date of your application. How much money you need depends on where you will be studying. You’ll need either: £1,334 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses outside London £1,023 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses inside London If you’re applying for the Doctorate Extension Scheme, and you’ve been in the UK for less than 12 months, you need to prove you have a total of £2,668 for courses in London, or a total of £2,046 for courses outside London. If you’re boarding at a residential independent school, you’ll need to pay boarding fees instead. The amount you need to pay will be on your CAS. London means the City of London and the 32 London boroughs.
