Aston UniversityPostgraduate engineer apprentices will develop their knowledge in their chosen specialism and learn to overcome engineering problems using technology, innovation, and creativity. The apprenticeship is tailored to the individual's role and all learning is specifically focused on the work the apprentice does in your organization. Course content Course content is taught at the postgraduate level and is split into two phases. The first phase is designed to provide a foundation of knowledge required to progress into the second phase. The development phase is tailored to each apprentices skills and knowledge gaps and the needs of the organization. The foundation phase is delivered online through fortnightly webinars and individual study and covers four main areas: Project Management Engineering Management Sustainability Professional Development Audit. The development phase provides an opportunity to choose between two routes: Employer-led route: The content is developed based on the employers requirements specified in an occupational brief and must include a set of work-integrated learning modules. Standard route: This covers a range of professional engineering modules that have been developed by Aston University.

Apprentices are selected based on their applications, an interview, and an assessment process that is tailored to your apprenticeship position. How much money you need depends on where you will be studying. You’ll need either: £1,334 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses outside London £1,023 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses inside London If you’re applying for the Doctorate Extension Scheme, and you’ve been in the UK for less than 12 months, you need to prove you have a total of £2,668 for courses in London, or a total of £2,046 for courses outside London. If you’re boarding at a residential independent school, you’ll need to pay boarding fees instead. The amount you need to pay will be on your CAS. London means the City of London and the 32 London boroughs.
