Course Overview

Our Mechanical Engineering Design degree covers a wide range of engineering practice. You’ll learn key skills and focus on computer-based engineering design. You’ll discover how to turn basic engineering principles into design possibilities. As well as find solutions for industry problems. You’ll take design ideas and turn them into computer models and create your own design solutions for your work portfolio.  You’ll learn in state-of-the-art facilities with industry standard software including; CAD packages stress and dynamics analysis packages computational fluid dynamics engine simulation software specialised vehicle-performance simulation software. We offer excellent work placements with our industry partners. And many graduates take jobs with their placement company. Our graduates work at top engineering companies, including; Jaguar Reaction Engines Blatchford Products. Our course leads to professional recognition as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng).
