On this course, youll work with experienced academics, technical staff, and visiting lecturers, drawing on a wealth of knowledge and skill as you explore and refine your own craft. Youll work on real-world collaborations, projects, and exhibitions, with an opportunity to undertake a work placement. Along the way, youll learn traditional skills through a combination of experimental craft techniques as you make textiles for art, architecture, fashion, interiors, lifestyle, and luxury. As you work, you'll have access to a range of textile equipment, as well as yarn and cloth dyeing labs, chemical mixing rooms, and specialist finishing areas.
