Course Overview

The course provides a broad scientific education in psychology with a strong grounding in psychological theories and research methods. It explores how psychological research is conducted, analyzed, and reported. This is delivered through a series of guided learning exercises, culminating in an independent research project. Our course is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) as conferring eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC). This is required if you wish to become a chartered psychologist (e.g. clinical, educational, forensic, sport, occupational, health, or counseling psychologist). It is also suitable if you have obtained a degree in psychology (home and overseas) that is not recognized by the BPS.

General Eligibility

An honors degree (2.1 or above) in a non-psychology specialism Or a degree (2.1 or above) from a psychology program not accredited by the British Psychological Society.

Language Requirement

  • English as their first language must have an IELTS score of 6.5 or above, with no section less than 5.5, or an equivalent rating in another recognized language testing system.
