From day one you’ll be immersed in industry-relevant learning experiences to equip you for your future as a business professional.
In your first year, you will gain an understanding of the global business environment and develop fundamental management skills in marketing, people and organizations, finance, and entrepreneurship.
In year two, you will translate this business knowledge into making key decisions and consider the different ways businesses operate around the world. The marketing focus will be on the role of marketing management and planning within the context of domestic and international markets. You will also get the chance to go out into a real company or organization and put these skills into practice.
You will have the chance to undertake an optional year-long placement which really brings your course to life and will enhance your graduate employment prospects. How does a work placement at Microsoft sound? That’s what Jake Gardner experienced during his time with us and is just one of many great placement opportunities this course provides. You may even have a year studying business and management abroad in Europe, North America, Asia, or Australasia.
Your final year is more tailored towards giving you the competitive edge you need to enter the area of business and marketing you want. You will carry out an original supervised research project into a subject you select and complete a module designed to maximize individual professional success. Most of what you study will be anchored to today’s business world – the top companies, the leading brands, and current thinking in the digital sector
