The University of New Haven’s M.S. in Chemistry is a practice-based program that will enable you to take an integrative approach to solving practical chemistry problems and prepare you to pursue a career in various fields.
You’ll begin by gaining a broad background in chemical theories, computational chemistry methods, analysis of experimental data, design of chemical materials, modern organic chemistry, design of molecular drugs, the creation of sustainable chemical processes, and current challenges in the field of chemistry.
In addition to developing expertise in organic, analytical, and computational chemistry, you’ll take courses in biomedical engineering, civil engineering, computer science, math, and cellular and molecular biology.
This integrative approach will prepare you to study chemistry challenges such as molecular drug discovery, polymer materials design, catalyst design, and chemical analysis for sustainable and renewable energy.
